The match unfolded last month on the streets of Toledo where Jones trained on her way to Olympic history, winning the medal as a welterweight in the 2020 Games (held in the summer of 2021 in Tokyo).
The incident was captured on police body cameras and shows Jones repeatedly demanding an officer’s badge number. The officers were in the neighborhood attempting to break up a crowd that had gathered. City officials have yet to comment.
